At Taejongdae, taking the train and avoiding all stairs are not the same thing. The Danubi train follows the loop road, while some of the coastal viewpoints require an additional descent. Plan those two parts separately if you are travelling with children, tired legs or someone who needs a gentler route.
Choose a loop-road visit or a longer walk
The park’s operator describes a 4.3-kilometre loop road. That number is useful for understanding the scale of the park, but it is not the distance of every route that includes coastal steps and detours. Decide whether the road circuit itself is part of the walk you want to do.
If the main purpose is the sea view, using transport for the road section may leave more energy for one chosen viewpoint. If walking through the wooded park is the purpose, allow room in the day for it instead of treating the entire park as a quick photo stop after another long outing.

Check the train, not just whether the park is open
The Danubi information page places the ticket office and boarding point roughly 200 metres uphill from the main tourist-information centre. It lists Monday as the regular non-operating day, with holiday exceptions, and says poor weather can suspend service.
The operator lists 09:20–17:30 in the off-season and 09:20–18:30 in the peak season. Some tourism copy gives a different peak-season closing time. If a late train is essential to your plan, use the current operator notice or call +82-51-405-8745 rather than relying on the most generous time found online.

The observatory and lighthouse are different commitments
Visit Busan’s route description distinguishes the observatory stop from the steps leading down toward Yeongdo Lighthouse. Reaching the first does not mean the second will be equally comfortable for every visitor.
Before descending, look at the return climb as part of the same decision. If somebody in your group is already tired, enjoying the higher viewpoint and returning is a complete visit. A photograph from a lower rock ledge is not an instruction to leave the signed route or cross a closure.

Keep enough time to leave Yeongdo
Use 태종대유원지, 부산 영도구 전망로 24 as the destination. Park entry is free, while the train has a separate fare. Check the ticket terms and final service before boarding; do not assume a ticket removes all waiting or guarantees an immediate return seat.
Build the trip back to your accommodation or station into the plan before adding another viewpoint. The park is on Yeongdo, so a later reservation elsewhere in Busan should be checked against an actual route, not just the apparent distance on a tourist map.

For visitors who need lift-equipped transport or help with a particular segment, ask about that precise segment and the day’s vehicle operation. An accessibility facility somewhere in the park does not establish a step-free route to every coastal attraction.
